My LevelSpy is not working although I recently replaced the batteries. What might be the reason?

The LevelSpy will not work with rechargeable batteries. Research has shown that rechargeable batteries do not supply (sufficient) voltage to make the device work. In case battery change is required, ALWAYS use the type of battery mentioned in the operating instructions: 2 Alkaline 1,5V (AA, ‘penlight’).
A built in coin cell will provide the programmed date table continuously with sufficient voltage. Also in situation when the LevelSpy is stored without batteries.
