I cannot attach my LevelSpy correctly to the measuring tube. How do I get reliable measurement results?
To guarantee a correct result the LevelSpy should always be placed perpendicular to edge of the filter tube. Sometimes the filter tube has been cut slantwise or placed too deep into a protective tube. We advise to always observe the following recommendations.
Make sure that your measuring tube is finished in such a way that:
- it has proper access to and into the well cover
- there are no obstacles like dirt, stones etc. in the well cover
- that the measuring tube has been squared off and provided with an end set or cover cap
- there is sufficient free space around the measuring tube so as to allow for the LevelSpy to be centered on the measuring tube.
When the filter tube has been placed to deep into the protective tube, a loose extension piece may be handy (in that case the measurement should be reduced by the length of the extension piece). In the event that the measuring tube has been cut slantwise you can use an end set.
